Progress Report: Srijan Shahi

Srijan Shahi, a 7 years old male child from Kalikot, Nepal was diagnosed with Athetoid CP and was admitted to ADC in 2075-09-10 BS. The main concern of his parents was that he was unable to stand and walk. He had normal crawling activities with limitation in walking and standing. Also his hand function was impaired but he had skilful play. For him we set goals to make him able to stand and walk for which our rehab team gave him play and functional therapy and strength and balance training.
At the end of Asad, we reassessed him and found out that he was able to stand independently and was able to walk with the help of assistive device quiet easily. His parents want to continue the treatment so we are doing our best to achieve more independent for him in future.
