ADC is established in 20th August 2010 and registered under Nepal's government / District Administration office, Surkhet No.556/067/068 and registered in Social Welfare Council No.31038/067/068. ADC has been working for the children with cerebral palsy and intellectual disability since the day of it's establishment. The main aim of our organization is to help such children to overcome their physical and intellectual disability and make a suitable environment for them to settle in their community as normal children in future. Hence to address such issues we are coordinating and collaborating with physiotherapists, special education teachers and vocational trainers, social workers, disable based organizations, regional hospitals, handicap international, INF, District Development Committee (DDC), District Education Office (DEO), political parties and other well wishers for any available help to such children in the district.

ADC is committed to serve such children which could finally fulfill our organizational vision, mission and goals in true value. During our intervention, we have faced various challenges like economic, political etc. but our commitment towards this humanitarian work makes us stand still till today.

ADC envisions a beautiful society based on social justice, in which all disable and helpless children can participate in main stream of social development and can enjoy the life with self sustain and independently.



ADC's Mission:


ADC's Mission is to work as a rehabilitation centre, being an advocator, study and investigator and being a smart actor to make self sustain and free life of the children with cerebral palsy and with intellectual disability.


ADC's goals and objectives:

To provide Physiotherapy, Occupational therapy and Speech therapy.
To provide special education.
To provide vocational and skill development trainings.
To create environment to improve socio-economic status of marginalized target group.
To advocate for the disable and helpless children.
To develop ADC as a study and research center by providing various information regarding disable children of this region.


ADC's activities:


To achieve our goal ADC will do following activities:

• Provide physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy regularly at center by expertise.

• Provide special education using special method and material by special education teacher regularly at center.

• Provide vocational and skill development training according to the internal skill and capacity of children regularly at center.

• Open bank A/C of children who are from under privilege community and collect fund by mobilizing community worker at every week of the month from other children, relatives and everyone who is keen to help voluntarily.

• To provide disability certificate, which could benefit them to receive disable allowance provided by the state, organize rights and awareness program inviting stakeholders.


• To develop student investigation center about the children with cerebral palsy and intellectual disability. Collect the related information regularly through the print and electronic media. Compiling and filing such related documents, collect related books, booklets, chart papers, articles, music, videos, documentaries and run a perfect library.
